And the Bronze Goes To… the Cora! Our Award-Winning Parade Home

October 15, 2026

Tuesday night, a room full of the Triangle's best builders gathered at the Raleigh Convention Center for the 2026 Parade of Homes Awards Gala. Category by category, the names were called. When Category 7 ($452K–$470K) came up, one of those names was ours.

The Cora, our three-story end-unit townhome at Atwater Station in Fuquay-Varina, took home Bronze.

We couldn't be prouder. And with one weekend left in the Parade, there's still time to see what won the judges over.

Tough Competition, Proud Result

The Triangle Parade of Homes has been the region's biggest new-home showcase since 1965, when the very first tour featured just 14 homes. This year's Parade features more than 300 homes from about 90 builders across roughly 190 communities.

Homes go head-to-head within their price category, and only the top entries medal. In ours, Gold and Silver went to Smith Douglas Homes and D.R. Horton, two of the largest builders in the country. Congratulations to both. We're proud to share the podium.

Step Inside the Cora

The Cora packs a lot of living into three floors. Here's a quick tour.

Floor one: flexible space. Right off the entry is a flex space that works as a home office, a home gym, or a guest suite with its own full bath.

Floor two: the heart of the home. An oversized waterfall island, with quartz running down both sides to the floor, anchors the kitchen. Designer pendants glow overhead, and two-tone cabinets frame it all. A built-in coffee bar sits just off the kitchen. Across the room, a contemporary fireplace with custom built-ins anchors the family room, which opens to the deck out back.

Floor three: the owner's suite. The owner's suite includes a spa-style bath with a frameless glass shower and designer tile. Two more bedrooms round out the floor.

By the numbers: 4 bedrooms | 3.5 baths | about 2,145 sq. ft. | 2-car garage | Parade Entry #56

The Team Behind the Medal

An award like this belongs to a lot of people. It reflects the work of our construction team, our design and trade partners, and Jennifer Bynum, our Community Sales Manager at Atwater Station, who welcomes visitors to the Cora.

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in it.

A Few Questions We Hear Often

Do I need a ticket or an appointment for the Parade? No. Stop by anytime between noon and 5 p.m. on Oct. 16, 17 or 18.

I can't make it this weekend. Can I still see the Cora? Yes. Schedule a visit with Jenn Bynum, our Community Sales Manager at Atwater Station, and she'll walk you through it.

Can I build a Cora of my own? Yes. The Cora is available at Atwater Station, with plans starting from $402,490. Jenn can show you which homesites are open and which of the model's options you can add.

Is the Cora a townhome or a single-family home? It's an end-unit townhome. That means extra windows and natural light on one side, plus the easy, low-maintenance lifestyle of townhome living.

Pricing, incentives, availability, and features are subject to change without notice. The model home shows optional features and decorator items that may not be included in the base price. See a Community Sales Manager for details.
